Today I did not come to school. I am out of town in a city call milledgeville. My uncle passed away. Even though I’m not in school I still am worker on my one pager assignment. I wrote all the writing, the only thing I have to do now is color.
Today we got a new assignment. I have to create a one pager on a letter I read of the color purple. I choose letter 42 because I liked the meaning of it. The character Squake was singing about how she is a mixed black girl. I can’t wait to finish it, my work is going to be fye.
Today I did not have a good day at school, but in mr. rease class I had a pretty interesting lesson like always. For our sel we had a lot of Critical questions. We answered them, then talked and shared our answers. Last we compared the questions and answers to the characters in the novel we are reading the color purple. I really like what I be learning in literature class. Lastly we had to read 5 letters/ chapters on our own in the book, then create a critical question for each one.
Today was very weird. I would never expect to have a whole lesson like we did today. Today we learned about genders. What it takes to be a boy & what it takes to be a girl. We also had lots of debate questions that caused arguments. Lastly mr. re re told me that your spouse come before your kids and parents. I felt very weird about that & went home and talked to my mom about it.
Today in class we finish reading the color purple novel. Today we got into Sofia’s life with Harpo. We always read a mature scene about cellie. I did not like these parts of the books very much. After we finish reading, we had a assignment. I had to make an poem from quotes from the novel. It started off kinda difficult, but as I tried it got easier. I ready to share tomorrow.
Today is a Friday so I’m so happy. Today was one of the day was one of the funniest days in class so far. We had to presents our letter activity project from the book “The Color Purple”. It was very fun listening to all the songs my class mates choose. I feel like I had a good playlist. All my songs went with what Ceillie have been going threw.
